When the side quest starts, Paimon will comment that the flashing of the Akasha Terminal will intensify if you enter the correct spot. Even without paying attention to the terminal, you can still walk around and you might spot an area that glows. Certain areas will light up when you go close to it, and you can investigate if it is the correct one.

There are four of these glowing areas the more you walk around, but only one of them will give you the entryway to connect to Nahida. The one that you should be looking for is located towards the outskirts of the building, so you should travel along the edge of the arena to find it.

From the entrance, head right till you come across the first glowing spot. From there, head up the platform and turn left. The spot you are looking for is behind the giant branch, where you can spot the bookshelf ahead.

Once you locate it, your Akasha Terminal will frantically start blinking, and you can interact with the spot to connect to Nahida.
