Later, it was released on Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. Recently, many players are getting the problem in which they are not able to play Private Matches in Rocket League. Here are some of the instructions you should know to get rid of the ‘Rocket League Private Matches Not Working’ issue.
How to Fix Rocket League Private Matches Not Working
Rocket League has its fair share of technical glitches and bugs this season, which were noticed recently. Here we give you several methods which you can try to fix Rocket League Private Matches not working.
1. First of all to fix private matches in Rocket League, you can try to delete the game and then try to set up again. However, this would not work for everyone, but there are several players on Reddit who tried and it worked. They specified that to set up a new account using the same name but with an additional letter or number.
That means, for those players who are experiencing a black screen when creating a private match, they simply need to create it again using the same name. Still, it doesn’t work, simply put a 1 any other letter or number in the name and this error should be fixed.
2. In the case the above method doesn’t work, then the issue is from the Psyonix side. The developer has stated in several Reddit threads that they are aware of this issue and working on it to fix this problem as soon as possible. So, you have to wait until the next updates or patches from the developer. Meantime, you can also enjoy the play in other modes.
That’s it for now. Hopefully, this post helped to clear your doubt on this issue. We know, it is a weird and very annoying issue, but it probably has to do with the servers, and not the players. For now, the only option left with us is to wait for the updates from the developer.
