Here is how you can fix Battlefield 2042 DirectX Graphics Card Error on PC.

1. Reinstall your Graphics Card. One of the simplest ways to fix Battlefield 2042 DirectX Graphics Card Error on PC is to just reinstall your Graphics Cards. For this, it is recommended to use DDU as it is one of the cleanest and best ways to remove drivers from your system for graphics drivers. Start downloading DDU and then download the updated driver version for your card. Make sure to check the latest version on the official website of your card’s manufacturer.

Once downloaded, uninstall and reinstall the new drivers using DDU. Once the driver is reinstalled or updated, attempt to launch Battlefield and see whether or not the error is gone. If this doesn’t solve the issue, proceed to the next solution.

2. Update the DirectX itself. For this, open up your Windows search box and type dxdiag and open up the first program that appears on your screen. Then run dxdiag and check if you’re already running the newest version of DirectX.

If you have an older DirectX version, then you’ll need to update it. To do that, run the check for the Windows Update feature in Windows 10. You can find it by opening Settings in Windows 10 and finding out the update tab. Under updates, there you will see a button on the top side. Otherwise, you can simply search the page by typing update in the Windows Search Box and clicking on the Check for updates.

3. Update the Visual Studio. Some players have also suggested making sure to update the Visual Studio.

4. Try to disable Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling. To do this, open up your Start button and search for “Graphics Settings” and then select Change default graphics settings and there turn OFF the Hardware accelerated GPU settings.

That’s it – Hopefully, these methods would fix Battlefield 2042 DirectX Graphics Card Error on PC.
