The Fatui Harbingers are prominent figures within the powerful and enigmatic organization known as the Fatui in the world of Teyvat. The Fatui Harbingers are high-ranking members who wield significant influence and authority, representing the interests of the Fatui across different regions and their ambitious goals.
The members of the Fatui Harbingers have long been revealed and their members have played a major role in the Archon Quest of every region we come across as Travelers. Their goal is to obtain the Gnosis of all the Archons for the Cryo Archon Tsaritsa who’s involved in a secret plan perhaps involving a rebellion against Celestia. We’ve already come across Childe, Signora, Scaramouche and Dottore of which Signora is already dead and Childe and Scaramouche (now known as Wanderer) are our allies. Fontaine is expected to feature the involvement of Arlecchino and Columbina.
According to previous leaks, Arlecchino- the Knave is tasked with training and leading the assassins and spies of the Fatui forces. Columbina who’s the third strongest of the Fatui Harbingers is said to be someone terrifying even to the likes of someone like Childe or Tartaglia who we know to be a battle-hungry personality.
Arlecchino is said to be a 5-star Pyro Sword user. She’s also said to be related to Lyney who we know as one of the performers from Fontaine’s teaser alongside his partner Lynette. Naturally, theorycrafters believe him to be a spy of the Fatui since he’s related to the Knave.
As for Columbina, she’s said to be another 5-star Pyro character and her weapon type is Polearm. According to leaks, her kit is revolutionary and she will change the DPS game entirely. Despite having a Pyro element, her kit is able to incorporate other elements into her attacks.
Her leaked kit is compared to that of Venti’s and Kazuha’s for being able to infuse other elements into her elemental burst- namely only Electro, Hydro, Dendro and Cryo. These absorbed elements also buff her- Electro buffs her Energy Recharge (ER), Cryo buffs her CRIT, Hydro buffs the duration of her burst or its effects and finally, Dendro buffs her Elemental Mastery (EM). She’s also able to apply these absorbed elements onto her opponents thus triggering their reactions with Pyro.
Her elemental burst has the symbol of wings and leaks signify that her burst causes her to fly up and jump back down while pushing enemies away from her. But her Burst has a very large AoE- similar to Nahida’s Burst so it’s not a problem. Another source suggests that she will have an HP-scaling kit which means the Staff of Homa would be great for her but it seems unlikely for things to be so simple with her.
These leaks alone are enough to indicate why she’s one of the strongest among the Harbingers and if these are to be believed then she will break the game upon her release. This is why theorycrafters believe that her scalars and damage numbers will be nerfed to keep her balanced. She could likely even powercreep Kazuha in reaction comps. Columbina’s release date is said to be scheduled around Version 4.3 due to her early inclusion in the story. Another recent leak also reveals that Dottore will wield the Dendro element. Fontaine will be an exciting time to play the game.
