The official Genshin Impact youtube channel dropped a bombshell a couple of hours ago. Fans and players finally got design and dialogue from all the remaining Fatui Harbingers. With the death of La Signora or “The Fair Lady” in the Inazuma Archon Story Quest, we finally get to see a Fatui burial of their comrade with all of their remaining members present except Scaramouche.
The Remaining Fatui Harbingers in Genshin Impact
In the video titled “Tevyat Chapter Interlude Teaser: A Winter Night’s Lazzo” we see all the remaining 9 Fatui Harbingers including our adorable rich battle-hungry Childe- all in what seems like Fatui ceremonial garbs to pay their due respects to the departed La Signora. The video ends with La Signora getting a burial in ice and hinting at what Dottore’s “Segment” has been up to in Sumeru– which gives us a sneak peek at the adorable Collei and the voice of Tighnari.
The 8 new Fatui Harbingers each have their own dialogue and design which hints at their true personalities. Pierro or “The Jester” is a severe man who’s clearly the leader of the bunch and ironically has no jester-like traits. Pantalone or “The Regrator” is a businessman while Dottore “The Doctor” is a twisted academic and researcher. Capitano “The Captain” seems to be respectful to Dottore which suggests that our leaked info might be true.
Sandrone or “Marionette” is seen with what looks like a mix between a Human-Fatui and a Ruin Guard. Pulcinella or “The Rooster” is an old wise-looking non-human who conducts Signora’s last rites. Arlecchino or “The Knave” seems distrustful of Pantalone and vengeful at the passing of Signora. “Damselette” or Columbina has no dialogue and only lies atop Signora’s coffin in the beginning.
It’s safe to say they all look incredibly intense in their Fatui uniforms or ceremonial Fatui clothing. Their masks are also revealed alongside except that of a few characters. The teaser hints we’ll see more of Dottore in Sumeru which in turn hints to him being the one of the primary villains in the Sumeru Archon Quest. We get a look at Collei who seems to have connections to Dottore as she wakes up from her nightmarish dream.
What we found most intriguing was the character of Pierro who references the “Old World” near the end of the teaser. He also talks about the “Sages” which is likely a reference to the highest academics of Sumeru Akademia who are also given the title of “Sages”. With any luck, he too will play a role in the Sumeru story quest. We’ll only have to wait and see as we keep our excitement contained for Sumeru.
