Faith and Failings is one of the main story quests in Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred and continues your journey through the Skovos region. In this quest, you will travel with Tharra to Celestia, fight off a pirate ambush, and finally meet Akarat at Light’s Bastion. After witnessing another disturbing vision involving Mephisto, you must make your way to the Celestia Observatory. Faith and Failings Quest
Faith and Failings is one of the important quests in Diablo 4. This quest starts inside Athulua Garrison in the Skovos area. After completing the Glint of Light quest, head back to Athulua Garrison and hear the speech made by Tharra to her army. When the speech ends, the Faith and Failings quest becomes available.
As soon as Tharra finishes making her speech at Athulua Garrison, proceed to Atanos, which is just north of Athulua Garrison. Follow the markers and enter the Lamenting Brume to find Tharra waiting along the road. Talk to her and recruit her to help you with the mission to Celestia.
Afterwards, head north following the markers provided to you. During your journey in The Odorous Mists, you will encounter a Buccaneer who will launch an ambush along with a group of pirates. Kill them to proceed, and continue going north until you meet an Amazon Sentry.
Meeting Meohisto
Speak to the Amazon Sentry and ask about Akarat. Once done, head north toward Light’s Bastion. Listen to Akarat’s sermon and approach Akarat himself at the platform to talk.
During the conversation, Akarat will ask what your heart is saying, and you will be offered any one of the three choices available. If you select the response that says you are eager to learn the truth, Mephisto will begin to appear in your mind once again, causing your character intense pain.
Following the vision of Mephisto, head outside the crowd and go to the location specified by the marker to enter The Odorous Mists. On your way, you will receive another conversation from Lilith. Your next point of interest is Celestia Observatory, and you must go southwest on the path highlighted for the quest area. As soon as you arrive, the Faith and Failings quest will come to an end.
