The Fabulous Fungus Frenzy event in Genshin Impact 3.2 has recently concluded but did you know there’s a secret hidden quest that ends the story of the event on a much darker tone?
Genshin Impact is such a loved game due to its attention to detail and fleshing out of characters and locations and in the latest event, it does just that. The Fabulous Fungus Frenzy event ended today with an amazing climax revealing the sinister plot of Kautilya and Elchingen and finally delivering some sweet justice. In our final match-up against Hanniyah, we also managed to change her mind about Fungi so all in all the event was a success with our Travelers (and Paimon of course) taking home the victory cup.
But the story doesn’t end here- as teased by Elchingen’s arrest and statement. And while the event may have been completed- there is a hidden ending some players have discovered and in this article, we’re going to guide you on how to reach this ending for yourself.
Fabulous Fungus Frenzy Hidden Ending in Genshin Impact 3.2
This ending can’t really be called a quest as such and that explains why it has no name or even an achievement to its name. This bit is just something extra the devs added for more detail but we’re guessing it didn’t make the final cut of the main event due to it giving an overall darker tone to the story of this joyous fun fungi fighting competition.
To get this ending, just teleport to the Chatrakam Cave Waypoint in the north of Sumeru and glide northwest towards the marked spot. You will automatically trigger Paimon’s dialogue about Elchingen’s plans and punishment when you’re in the vicinity.
Once you turn a corner, you’ll encounter a Fatui Agent who will trigger combat with you and will have one of those big important health bars. Defeat him and you’ll get a Mysterious Fatui Letter. Read this to know the hidden ending of the Fabulous Fungus Frenzy questline.
We won’t spoil the ending as we want you all to experience it for yourselves. The letter wraps up the fate of Elchingen- or at least what was supposed to be his fate and it also gives us an insight into the inner workings and dynamics within the Fatui.
