A new patch is planned to release in the upcoming week for Escape from Tarkov. The patch brings several fixes and improvements to make it seamless to purchase and play the PvE mode, which will be out in a few weeks from beta. Here are the patch notes for the update.

Escape from Tarkov (EFT) Patch 0.15.2.0 Notes
List of changes:
Map to map travel
- Transitions between locations are now available in every raid, as well as in PvE mode;
- Transitions between locations are now available for Player Scavs;
- Added new transits:
- Streets of Tarkov → Ground Zero;
- Interchange → Streets of Tarkov;
- Customs → Reserve;
- Customs → Interchange;
- Factory → Customs;
- Factory → The Lab;
- Woods → Factory;
- Woods → Lighthouse;
- Reserve → Customs;
- Reserve → Woods;
- Lighthouse → Reserve;
- Lighthouse → Woods;
- Shoreline → Lighthouse.
- Transit activation time has been reduced to 1 minute after the start of the raid;
- Some Marathon event tasks, as well as the Marathon achievement, have been adjusted but remain available for completion.
Mortar strikes
A new in-game event “Mortar Strike” has started.
- The locals have found a stockpile of mortars and are now regularly shelling the open terrain from safe positions;
- During the event, the following locations will be targeted by mortar fire: Customs, Woods, Shoreline, and Reserve;
- Mortar attacks occur in PvP, PvE, and practice modes;
- Scavs, Bosses and other bots react appropriately when mortar attacks start.
Added a new task line for the in-game event.
Players will be able to obtain unique rewards related to the event for completing the tasks:
- A special equipment item that warns about the start of mortar fire in advance to help avoid dangerous areas;
- A special consumable item that initiates mortar fire at the player’s position;
- Players will receive a unique achievement as a reward for finishing the task line, available only during the event.
AI
- Improved Partisan’s AI behavior model when traveling long distances and installing tripwires;
- Improved AI movement routes after taking cover to make them smoother and more diverse.
QoL improvements
- Roubles, dollars, euros, and GP coins no longer have a Found in Raid mark.
Balancing changes
- Added new barters for the following items:
- BNTI Gzhel-K body armor (without ballistic plates) — (Ragman, LL3);
- 6B43 Zabralo-Sh body armor (without ballistic plates) — (Prapor, LL4).
- Increased the amount of compensation for a successful report of a player who violated the Escape from Tarkov License Agreement;
- Set the in-raid drop limit for some info items to 3;
- Adjusted the Vulkan-5 LShZ-5 bulletproof helmet:
- Reduced the armor class from 6 to 5;
- Reduced the armor points from 99 to 75.
- Reduced the cost;
- Reduced the wearing penalties;
- Increased the spawn chance.
- Adjusted the task “Punisher – Part 5”:
- Added the ability to hand over any variation of the AK-74;
- Added the ability to hand over any variation of the Makarov Pistol;
- Added the ability to complete the objective using PACA Soft Armor (Rivals Edition).
- Adjusted the task “Spa Tour – Part 3”:
- Added the ability to hand over any variation of the WD-40 (100ml and 400 ml).
- Adjusted the task “Slaughterhouse”:
- Added the ability to complete the objective using:
- PR-Taran police baton;
- APOK Tactical Wasteland Gladius;
- United Cutlery M48 Tactical Kukri.
- Added the ability to complete the objective using:
- Replaced the ammo given as rewards for various main and operational tasks with the corresponding ammo packs.
Sounds
- Improved the occlusion of lamp sounds;
- Improved the occlusion of door and container sounds in first- and third-person;
- Increased the volume of USEC Charlie voice.

- Fixed certain cases with the inability to hear the sounds of grenades bouncing off obstacles;
- Improved the display of the item list shown when attempting to sell a container or weapon with mods that are unavailable for sale to traders;
- Fixed the MP-43-1C double-barrel shotgun reload causing the animations to freeze and display incorrectly in third-person;
- Fixed the freezing when quick-dropping a backpack while using a weapon mounted on obstacle/bipod;
- Fixed the teleporting after jumping over barbed wire while sprinting;
- Fixed the incorrect display of gained experience on the post-raid screens;
- Fixed several visual and collision issues on various locations;
- Fixed the missing new BEAR and USEC clothing in PvE mode;
- Fixed several instances of errors appearing when upgrading a zone or starting a craft in the Hideout;
- Fixed the leveling of Intelligence skill by crafting items in Hideout;
- Fixed an issue causing bots to not respond to Player Scav’s commands;
- Fixed the sound of dropping a backpack in first-person;
- Fixed the incorrect calculation of equipment weight when transferring containers to the inventory;
- Fixed the incorrect text layering on the Weapon Mastering screen;
- Fixed the clipping of Smoke balaclava with Ops-Core helmet straps;
- Fixed the ballistic plate compatibility with the Stich Profi Stich Defense mod.2 plate carrier (MultiCam);
- Fixed the ballistic plate compatibility with the Stich Profi Plate Carrier V2 (Black);
- Fixed the bullet velocity value for all 12.7x55mm caliber ammo;
- Fixed the “Examined by default” setting for certain ammo packs;
- Fixed the incorrect collision when a grenade hits a player/bot after taking damage.
