Starscourge Radahn doesn’t have a lot of weaknesses, but is somewhat weak to pierce and scarlet rot damage. Besides this, the fight depends solely on timing. You can summon Torrent to help you and also use the summoning signs within the arena to summon NPCs. There are two stages to this fight, and we will detail how to complete them and win the fight.
Starscourge Radahn Boss Fight Guide
Round 1
As soon as you enter the arena, you will be met with flying arrows that will deal a lot of damage. Use a shield or roll towards the arrow’s direction to avoid it. You can even hop on Torrent and immediately run backwards away from the boss before he fires the first arrow. Another way to avoid the arrows is to hide behind the debris where the summoning signals are.
If you are going to summon NPCs, then do so at the start of the fight so they can deal damage. You don’t have to join them right now, and can instead pay attention to Radahn’s fighting style from a distance or used ranged attacks here. After they are dead, wait for Radahn to get off his horse and stomp on it. This is the right time for you to quickly lunge forward and attack him from below
Stay consistently underneath him and keep dealing attacks till he summons and hops on his horse again. He might apply a gravitational element to his swords after this. The process for hitting him remains the same, when he is off his horse just lunge forward and keep hitting him. He might deal a shockwave from his powered up swords, which can be avoided by standing a bit behind him. Once he starts summoning targeting orbs, get back on Torrent and keep running backwards and sideways to avoid them
Round 2
Radahn will disappear once his health is a bit above half. Keep an eye on the sky with or without Torrent. A huge fireball will appear. Avoid it, and quickly run towards it as Radahn appears. Get underneath him and keep dealing damage. Once he jumps up to slam his body to the ground, get behind his horse. Keep on hitting till he gets on his horse and leaves you behind. You should hop on Torrent quickly, as Radahn will summon homing comets at you now. These can be dodged by riding sideways
He will also send a huge shockwave right after. Run backwards then face forwards while the shockwave comes to you. Once it is close, double jump over it towards Radahn. Repeat this process a few times till Radahn gets off his horse again. Land your final blows and he will be down in no time
Round 3
This part of the fight remains the same, just that Radahn’s powers are more amped up. This stage starts after he is less than half health. You can use summons here so they do most of the work while you dodge and avoid his homing comets. The best way to avoid the comets is to hide behind the large sand dunes and use them as a shield. If you are brave enough, run towards Radahn with your allies and deal enough damage to kill him
