If you are looking for a quick way to farm Wakestones without the help of Pawns, then you need to get Dragon’s Gaze. There are two places where you can check to get it. There is one on top of Vernworth Watchtower in Vernworth Castle. You have to go up to 2F and enter the elevator room between the Magistrate Office and Guest Chambers. Once you find the elevator, enter it and go up to 4F. Once you reach the very top, look for a chest with Dragon’s Gaze inside. You can also get Dragon’s Gaze after completing the quest The Nameless Village. Once you get Dragon’s Gaze, you can automatically spot all Wakestones on the map.
If you would rather get it without the help of Dragon’s Gaze, then you can hire pawns that are low level and complete their quest. Look for pawns that are at level 1 or 2 and have the Quest Knowledge off. Hire 3 off them and pass the time, you will be rewarded with Wakestones. You can also get Wakestones by merging Wakestone Shards found in chests or enemy drops. Besides this, completing Disa’s Plot and A New Godsway quests will also give you 1x Wakestone
