To find Lamond and start the quest, make your way to the Volcanic Island Camp in Agamen Volcanic Island. There are some wooden ramps that you can climb up, and this leads to a ladder. Go up to find and talk to Lamond. Regardless of what choice you pick, you will still unlock this quest. You need to hand over three Newt Liqueur to complete the quest.
How to Craft Newt Liqueur in Dragon’s Dogma 2
If you are looking for a free way to get Newt Liqueur, then you can try crafting it using 1x Fruit Wine and 1x Saurian Tail. You have to scavenge the wilds to get both these items. Hunt down Saurians to get Saurian Tail, these are lizard-like enemies found deep within caves. As for Fruit Wine, you can get one for free after purchasing a house in Vernworth. Speak to Captain Brant after this and he will hand over the wine in celebration. If you don’t get the wine, increase your relationship with him by completing his quests. You can also talk to the other townsfolks within Vernworth after buying a house, some of them might hand over fruit wine as a gift. Take both the items and head over to your crafting menu to get Newt Liqueur.
Where to Buy Newt Liqueur in Dragon’s Dogma 2
There are two places you can visit to purchase Newt Liqueur from vendors. The vendors are located in Bakbattahl, so make your way over there first. The vendors you can meet are Earland at Flamebearer Palace and Ezekiel at Higg’s Tavern Stand. At Flamebearer Palace, Earland will sell it for 2,000 gold. But for Higg’s Tavern, you need a Beastren mask first if you are a human.
You can purchase the mask from Ibrahim’s store at Checkpoint Rest Town. Once you have the mask on, make your way close to the tavern and pick up a sandbag from a nearby pen. Carry it into the fenced area to notify the Beastren Karnel. He will escort you inside the tavern, where you can talk to Ezekiel and get the drink for 5,000 gold
Besides these two locations, you can get one Newt Liqueur for free from the Forbidden Magick Laboratory, which is also located in Bakbattahl. But you need just three liqueur, so you can pick how you wish to get it and head back to Lamond to complete the quest
