After completing the quest’s first part and obtaining the Ripened Quince for Isaac, he will request you to find the Grimoire’s Second Volume. This is when you have the option to seek the second outcome for the quest. When you reach Ibrahim’s Scrap Store in Checkpoint Rest Town, go to him and purchase On The Transference of Souls 2.

After purchasing the book from him, you also have the option to Request a Forgery. Go ahead and make a forgery of the book. You now have two books – On The Transference of Souls 2 (Original) and On the Transit of Souls 2 (Duplicate). To get the duplicate, you need to rest on the bench for two days and return to Ibrahim.

Now that you have the two books, you can return to Isaac and give any one of the two books to him. Giving the original leads to a good ending and giving the fake leads to a bad ending.

Give On The Transference of Souls 2 to Isaac (Good Ending)

Go back to Issac and give him the On The Transference of Souls 2. He will ask you to follow him. The good ending is good for you, but not good for his wife and daughter. Giving him the Transference book will kill his wife and daughter. But, you can return to Isaac in his store and buy the other Transference of Soluls volume which can be combined in the inventory to make the spell book Celestial Paean.

Give On The Transit of Souls 2 to Isaac (Bad Ending)

If you choose to give the forged book to Issac, he will still ask you to follow him, but when he uses the book nothing happens and you will get the quest reward, which is 16000 G. Also, Issac will be unavailable at the shop to trade and he will disappear from the game.
