To get all new crafting recipes, you first need to update the game to unlock them. Next, you need to find Ted Selly on the island and talk to him. Since he spawns randomly, you have to explore a bit to find him. We have a guide on how you can find Ted Selly in Dinkum in case you are new to the game. Once you are lucky enough to find Ted, talk to him to find the recipe for crafting the Alpha Trident. To craft the Trident, you need to collect the following items.
- 400,000 Dinks
- Iron Spear x1
- Alpha Shark Tooth x3
- Copper Ore x10
- Iron Ore x10
- Opal x5
To quickly find all the above items, enable the Track Recipe Ingredients option. This will help you gather most of the items quickly. You would already have an abundance of Copper and Iron Ore by now, and probably some Opal too. You can pick them out from your storage to save you some time. Also, you need to craft one Iron Spear by placing 1x Palm Wood Plank and 2x Iron Bar on the Crafting Table. And finally, you need to find and beat Alpha Sharks to collect Shark Tooth. Gather all the items and head back to Ted to craft the Alpha Trident if you have the required crafting money.
