To start the Reject the Mother side quest in Diablo 4, you need to find a Torn Note. For that, you have to make your way to the Dry Steppes, specifically to the Tusmaa Rift. The location is marked on the map below.
Visit this location and you will find a torn note beside a boulder in Abahru Canyon. Pick it up to get a hint of what to do and start the Reject the Mother quest. You can now check your map to know where you need to go to complete the quest.
Make your way toward the Dark Ravine Dungeon to find Lilith’s secret shrine. The location of the shrine is also marked below
There are several enemies along the way. You can either defeat them and gather some loot, or ignore them and make a run for it. You will know you have reached the shrine when you see an engraving on the floor.
Now, you need to equip and use the No emote from your emote wheel to reject Lilith. Stand inside the circular engraving on the floor and use the emote. If done correctly, you will see a Heretic’s Cache appear on the right side. Interact with it to get your rewards and complete the Reject the Mother quest.
