In this guide, we will see how to switch or swap weapons in Diablo 4.

How to Unlock Skills in Diablo 4
Before you can start swapping weapons, you need to unlock the necessary skills for it. In the skill tree, you would notice that certain skills are tied to certain weapons. For example, for the Rogue, you need to unlock the Heartseeker or Power Shot skills to use the bow. But you would also need to unlock Blade Shift so that the Rogue can use melee weapons.
Different weapons require different skills to use, so you need to check the skill tree and unlock the ones that are tied to the particular weapon. Dual wielding classes will require skills that will let them use two weapons at the same time. You can unlock skills as you level up your character and earn skill points.
How to Assign Skills to the Hot Bar in Diablo 4
Now that you have the skill, you need to assign it to your hotkey. Click on any of the empty slots in your hot bar, it will show you all available skills you can assign. Select the skill you want, then select the Assign Skill option to equip it.
After setting the skill, press X (Xbox)/ Square (PS)/ Middle Mouse Button (PC) to cycle between all the available weapons that are assigned to the hot bar.
