At a point in Disciples: Liberation when you have escorted Corisandre to the castle and have access to the Mercenary King’s castle, you are required to choose a side in the upcoming fight. You can either choose Corisandre, which will have you help her defend the castle against the Rebels or you could side with the Rebels on the attack on the castle. Keep reading and we will share who you should side with in Disciples: Liberation when the option is presented.
Who to Side with – Corisandre or Rebels in Disciples: Liberation
When you have escorted Corisandre to the Holy Prior, you will have three options when Corisandre asks you to help her. The options are “I’m with you,” “I’m with you, for a price,” and “I’m with the rebels.”
Choosing any of the first two options will have you side with Corisandre and help her protect the castle from the rebels. The third option will directly side you with the rebels. Regardless of your choice, you will still have the option to choose Corisandre as a companion and unlock the same quest. The main difference between the two options is gaining Empire faction. If you side with Corisandre, you will gain Empire faction, but with the rebels, you will not.
If you side with Corisandre, you will be tasked to a fight with the rebels and unlock subsequent quest Rebellion’s Flame Burns On. You will earn XP, reputation with Empire, Mage’s Guild building, and items.
Siding with the rebels will start the fight right there and you need to survive three rounds before you can join the rebels outside. The Rebellion’s Flame Burns On quest will still be unlocked but, this time you will fight the Holy Prior. Besides gaining Empire faction, the rebel path also rewards you the same things that you get when siding with Corisandre.
Depending on whether you care about the Empire faction or not, you can decide which side to choose. After all that all you gain or lose by deciding who to side with in Disciples: Liberation.
