Schedule 1 is one of the most trending games at the moment. It takes you to the immersive experience of running a drug-dealing business. However, the authorities get a whiff of your illegal business, the entire situation pushes you back to square one. You must learn the basics of managing your drug network in this new town.
The game is very simple, nothing too complicated or complex. Players will learn a few tricks while moving ahead in the game, as they are nothing short of common sense. However, there are still some tips and tricks for beginners who are just getting into Schedule 1.
1. Don’t Overdo Orders
The supply and demand chain remains the heart of your business. You’ll sell a lot of products to your customers, and the more you sell, the happier they will be. However, it is crucial to consider that you don’t overdo the order. Check your inventory and make sure you have enough products to meet the demands.
Plan out producing and delivering products in a way that allows you room to relax. This will take a lot of unnecessary pressure off your mind and allow you to work with an adequate amount of orders.
2. Keeping Your Pocket Clean of “Suspicious” Item
Schedule 1 definitely doesn’t feature a clean line of business. Cops are your biggest enemy in this situation, and you must steer clear of their radar of suspicion. Authorities will body search you, and you’ll run into them a handful of times.
So how do you hide all the “spicy” stuff in your inventory?
The officer will flash their light over specific slots in your inventory. You can use this time to make sure that the light doesn’t spot the illegal items in your inventory.
3. Pricing Your Products at an Affordable Price
If you’re putting too high of a price on your products, chances are you’ll blow off your customers. You can get an idea of what fair prices are from the bottom of your screen. This doesn’t mean that you have to sacrifice your prices, but placing your products at an affordable and satisfying price range will not only improve customer experience but also attract more prospects.
4. Keep Leveling to Access More Items
You’ll start Schedule 1 with the crown of “Street Rat.” This is the lowest level, and the main character will level up as he gets more clients and starts making substantial revenue from the business. After getting through five levels of Street Rat, a new title is unlocked called the “Hoodlum.” The final title is called “Kingpin,” which is unlocked after going through eleven levels of the previous title.
Leveling up means unlocking new items. This includes drugs as well as ways to produce and manage them such as enhanced soils, fertilizers, and seeds.
5. Clearly Communicating With Your Customers
Schedule 1 might feature bland graphics, but it has kept the realism well. Similar to businesses in real life, you must get used to handling clients and prospects. Getting fluent with your smartphone is advised as it contains necessary apps such as the map and journal. As you traverse through the game, more apps will unlock, which will allow you to hire new dealers.
Don’t be afraid to communicate clearly with the customers. If you can’t take up an order or need more time, then saying “No” wouldn’t hurt your reputation as a dealer or the business.
6. Using Cash and Cards in Proper Situations
Cash earned from selling your products can’t be used to buy material at the store. No matter how much cash you are walking around with, it can’t be used in hardware and gardening shops. Purchases must be made with a debit card; that’s why Schedule 1 has ATMs at different corners of the town.
You can deposit and withdraw money from the ATM, and these machines are available 24/7.
7. The Competition is Wild
Players are introduced to the fact that Schedule 1 features massive competition early into the game. Whether it’s the cops or rival gangs, the main character is always under threat from them.
The protagonist was forced to settle down on new turf after their previous one was raided. Uncle Nelson is friends with some questionable people who might be the perpetrators.
8. Beware of the Authorities!
The cops are very active in Hyland Point, patrolling the town with mobile forces. Anything suspicious catches their eyes, and they’ll look into it regardless of what time of the day it is. They often search you on suspicion of carrying illegal substances and will check your customers too.
Players will be subjected to heavy fines or something even worse if they’re caught with illegal products. There is a curfew in the town from 9 pm to 5 am. The punishment for being outside during this lockdown is $100, which is expensive.
9. Don’t Forget to Save The Game
Players can save the game using the intercom placed in their domicile. There is no autosave feature in Schedule 1, so you must be mindful and not forget to save your progress.
The manual save feature can be easily overlooked as it is rather subtle. But losing hours of hard work, cash, and products is a major letdown.
