Armored Core 6: How to Beat the Strider

Armored Core 6, developed by FromSoftware Inc. and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc., is a mech game that allows players to control various mechs and engage in battles. Players must complete missions while controlling their mech, earning cash rewards for each successful mission. Players will be facing many enemy bosses in the whole campaign and one of the earliest bosses players will be facing is Strider, a massive mining ship. How to Beat the Strider in AC6

Players will be facing the Strider in one of the earliest chapters and players without knowing will be defeating its sun generators. After destroying the sub-generators, players will decrease the strider’s HP, players will be facing a half HP boss at the end of the Chapter. Strider is a huge Mining Ship laid down by the Rubicon Liberation Front (RLF) in order to fend off intruders. 

After getting into the fight with the Strider, players need to keep these things in mind:

1. In order to even do damage to Strider, players need to move closer to its eye 
2. Players have to be in close range otherwise players will be hit with lasers and get stunned to half their HP 
3. The best way to avoid taking damage from the laser and bomb is to fly in the air 
4. The other way to avoid taking damage is to use either Quick or Assault Boost
5. Players need to avoid around 5 lasers in order to even get to the Eye of Strider 

6. After getting to the Strider’s Damage range, the player’s first goal is to cut off one of its legs so it collapses on the floor. 
7. To actually hurt the boss, players need to remove the shield from the eye and to do that, players need to destroy 4 generators. 
8. After destroying the generator, players can finally deal damage and destroy it 
9. The eye will be shooting many lasers so players should take cover to avoid them as well. (Dodging this close is almost impossible) 
10. Players will be fighting mid-air as well so it is best to keep moving to avoid getting locked on by Eye. 
11. Simply dodge lasers and attack the boss to finally defeat the boss.
