The quickest way to tackle the AH12 HC boss is to get up close and deal melee damage. At this point in the game your rockets and guns won’t deal the required damage and range needed, so you have to depend on your melee to take down the first boss. As soon as the boss appears, Assault Boost to the cockpit area and slash away. You can get down to the ground to recoup energy, then jump back up and attack it. You need to avoid the Helecopter’s missiles and bullets while you are making your way towards it. These can be avoided with timely dodges.
While on the ground, you can become an easy target. The best way to avoid the boss’s range of fire is to stand underneath it while regenerating energy. Also, it is best to keep filling up the stagger bar of the helicopter boss, so keep firing at it when you are not doing melee attacks. Repeat the above steps a couple of times till the stagger bar is full and the helicopter cannot use one of its weapons. Now you can land some powerful hits and quickly bring down the boss.
