The Catching of Aniimo is an important part of world exploration and forming your squad. With advancement, there will be a variety of Aniipods which can help in increasing your chances of catching these creatures.

All Aniipods work differently, so choosing the correct Aniipod can prove to be resourceful. Some Aniipods suit ordinary captures, whereas some may be used for Aniimo of high rarity. In this guide, we will explain how each Aniipod works and when you should use it.

How to Catch Aniimo Quickly

As soon as you start playing Aniimo, you will be able to access different kinds of Aniipods very soon. Although there are some that can just increase your catching chances, there are also some that have unique effects that make them handy for particular instances.

This is why you should never deploy your best Aniipods for all your Aniimos. Some of them are hard to find, while some are very easy to replace.

Basic Aniipod

The normal Aniipod is the usual catching gear. There is nothing special about it since it does not offer any additional multiplier in terms of the catch rate, but there are many of them which you will be able to collect during gameplay.

The basic Aniipods can be acquired through the tutorials, exploration, quests, production at Homeland, shopping, treasure chests, Adventure Rank rewards, and many more. As they are easy to acquire, you should make use of them for catching common Aniimos.

Aniipod Pro

Aniipod Pro is an Epic Aniipod that comes with a 1.5x catch rate. The Aniipod Pro is a basic upgrade compared to the ordinary Aniipod and does not come with any special requirements. You can acquire it through exploration, quests, rewards from battles, Homeland production, chests, stores, among others. This Aniipod is available at 800 Animo Credits.

You should use the Aniipod Pro if you really care about catching the Aniimo, but you don’t want to use your valuable Aniipod. For instance, if a normal Aniipod doesn’t give you favourable chances, you can always use the Aniipod Pro to increase your chances without wasting valuable resources.

Aniipod Mega

Mega Aniipod provides you with a 2x catch rate. This is different from most of the other Aniipods, which come with a certain condition. The sources for acquiring Mega Aniipods include Battle Pass rewards, Elite Training, tutorial, exploration, quests, Adventure Tokens, homeland production, special events, Adventure Rank rewards, chests, exchange, and store.

Since they are obtainable in a number of ways, you do not necessarily have to hold on to each of them for eternity. Still, it will be wise to use them if the regular Aniipod does not give you good chances.

Aniipod Hyper

The Aniipod Hyper has a 2x catch rate; however, it offers some extra advantages. It minimises air resistance and helps you throw it further and faster. So, Hyper becomes quite handy when you cannot reach your Aniimo. If you are struggling to land a throw because the target is far away, the extra range can make a big difference.

It is possible to acquire the Hyper Aniipods from the Companion Handbook, Adventure Tokens, and in the shop. The price is 2,500 Animo Credits. When distance is not a problem, then there is no reason to choose a Hyper Aniipod instead of some other 2x Aniipod.

Aniipod Trace

The Aniipod Trace features a 2x catch rate, as well as having the property of auto-tracking. Once you throw the Aniipod, it will start following Aniimo nearby to increase your chances of catching it. It may prove helpful when dealing with Aniimo that constantly move around or are hard to catch.

The Trace Aniipods can be acquired through the Companion Handbook, Adventure Tokens, and stores. They are sold for 5,000 Animo Credits each, which means that they cost much more compared to some other items. You should reserve these Aniipods for situations when the tracking function will prove helpful, because when the Aniimo stands still, there is no use for such an Aniipod.

Tumbler

The Tumbler is one of the most unique Aniipods. While it normally gives a 2x multiplier when catching an Aniimo, the Tumbler’s true worth comes from how it works during a Nurture event. With a Tumbler, catching an Aniimo that was created during Nurture results in a 6x multiplier.

This is quite the improvement, which means you shouldn’t use your Tumblers as regular 2x Aniipods. The Tumblers can be obtained from the Battle Pass, Elite Training, Glimmer purchases, the Nurture Branch, Hollow Battle Interlink, exploration, quests, shops, and chests, and they are available for 5,000 Animo Credits.

Aniipod Ultra

Aniipod Ultra is a Legendary type of Aniipod which has two primary uses. First, it ensures a successful catch, and second, it makes sure of having an Aniimo with at least elite potential. There are four types of potential, starting from common to good, elite and then perfect, and having an elite or better one is a plus point.

Second, they can be used while hatching a new Aniimo, where they will make sure of an elite or better outcome. They can be obtained by Battle Pass, Elite Training, Glimmer, trade, shopping, or chests.

Additionally, they can be exchanged by using 20 Aniipod Ultra vouchers to get one Ultra. Since they are very hard to replace, they should be used only on Aniimo which are worth capturing. These are highly useful in case of rare Aniimo like Prismana.

Sparkling Cube

Sparkling Cube is a Prismatic Aniipod and is one of the rare catching items. With this cube, the catch is guaranteed, and the Aniimo will have at least Elite potential. Most importantly, if you catch/hatch an Aniimo using a Sparkling Cube, it will be a Sparkling variant of the Aniimo. In other words, it will give you the advantages of an Ultra item, but it will also guarantee that the Aniimo will be sparkling.

There are several ways to get Sparkling Cubes, including the Battle Pass, Elite Training, the Fun Stamp Collection Shop, the Companion Handbook, shops, and item exchanges. There is also an exchange which will require 100 Sparkling Crystals. Since it is quite rare, you should think twice before using it. You should use it only to get a Sparkling variant of an Aniimo that you really like.
