Modern Warfare 2’s revamped Spec Ops mode will feature three new objectives, and also there will be three new kits you can select. The three objective missions are Low Profile, Denied Area, and Defender. Each mission will require you to perform in stealth or aggressively. There are also three designated kits you can use, and you can level them up to Tier 5. Below are all the kits and what they do.

  • Medic: Enables long-range revives using the Revive pistol. The more you upgrade it, the faster you can revive it. You can also unlock other gear like claymores, anti-tank mines, and the bomb drone.
  • Assault: Players who want increased defense should use this kit, as it supplies increased armor strength with an Armor Box field upgrade. The further the upgrade, the more suits, armor capacity, and stims you can unlock. 
  • Recon: With this kit, you can unlock the Snapshot Pulse Field to mark and get intel on nearby enemies. With each upgrade, you can unlock auto-renewal of your equipped primary and tactical gear, as well as gain an extra slot to carry extra gear, use a spotter scope, and also attain the heartbeat sensor.
