The Old Mine in Gothic 1 Remake has many secret areas that are easy to miss during a normal playthrough. These hidden areas contain valuable rewards, including powerful weapons and special items. All Secret Loot in Old Mine
If the Old Mine Collapses, you can transform into a Meatbug near the blocked entrance and crawl through the small opening. Once you are inside, transform back into your normal form and explore the mine.
The Old Mine has many secret areas that you can find when you are inside the mine. The first secret is above Asghan, near the collapsed tunnel inside the Old Mine.
Blood Blade
Transform into a Bloodfly and hold the jump button to gain more height. While flying, switch to your attack and repeatedly use the attack animation. This gives you enough forward movement to reach the hidden ledge. Once you are across, transform into your normal form. You will find a dead Mine Crawler along with several items. There you will find the Blood Blade.
The Blood Blade has been obtained by players at various stages of the game. There is one instance where a player was able to get the Blood Blade during Chapter 1 in the hard mode of the game on Patch 1.0.2 with the hotfix. The other instance saw a player get the weapon in Chapter 2 upon joining the Old Camp before entering into the Flooded Mine during Normal (Gothic) difficulty of the game.
Queen Pheromone Gland
Start from Asghan and head towards the area with the Smelters and Templars. Follow the path towards the left direction near the mine tracks and climb up the rocks. Then transform into a Bloodfly and fly up to a hidden ledge where you will find a strange egg. Inside the egg is a Queen Pheromone Gland.
Potions
From the hidden egg area, continue forward and take the path to the left. Climb up until you spot another ledge. Use the Lights spell and transform into a Bloodfly. Fly across to reach the platform. Here, you will find many potions, like the permanent stat-boosting potion. Potion of Power permanently increases your Strength and Dexterity by 4 points each.
