All Wandering Tales
The Art of Lying Low and Over the Rainbow are the two Wandering Tales you’ll need to complete in the game. Here’s how you can finish them easily:
Art of Lying Low
To complete the Art of Lying Low, you’ll need to go southeast of Meandering Bank. Once you reach the marked location near the river bank, go towards the right and pick up the wooden plank that’s lying in the water.
After that, head northeast from the Meandering Bank and you’ll find a Signpost on top of the rocks. Pick up the Signpost and jump down from there to find Fu Dili hiding. Interact with him and he’ll tell you how he has agreed to a challenge with a fellow student where they both will attempt to slip out of the classroom and see how they can avoid getting caught.
He’ll also explain how he has no idea where to start and this is where you can offer him the piece of wood you took from the river. He will hesitate at first but then agree saying how most mechanisms in Mohist Hill are made of wood so it makes sense. He’ll tell you how he’s going to try to carve the wood into a puppet and have it attend school instead of him.
With him agreeing to take the piece of wood from you, the Wandering Tale, Art of Lying Low’s ending will be unlocked.
Over the Rainbow
To complete the Over the Rainbow, you’ll need to go north from the Millennium Crossing. Once you reach the marked location, you’ll find Zhou Guangchen on top of the mountains. Go and start interacting with him. He’ll talk to you about fortune telling and prophecy but all he requires is a bucket of water to conduct an experiment on the cliffs. An experiment for an artificial rainbow.
Your next task will be to get the bucket of water for him. For this, you’ll need to head over to the marked location, and there, you’ll find Old Man Zhou fishing at the river. Offer him your Silver Tongue and he’ll lend you his bucket in which you can fill water and take back to Zhou Guangchen.
Give the bucket of water to Zhou Guangchen and he’ll use it along with some mirrors to cast a rainbow across the cliff. You’ll just need to check back at Si hour (11:00 AM) to make sure he has returned the bucket to the fisherman. With this, the Wandering Tales, Over the Rainbow Ending will be unlocked.
