There are only two ways you can earn Credits and Tri-Credits in the game. The most common way to get credit is to recycle scraps. You can get scraps during your exploration of the space station. Sometimes they will be in plain sight, inside loot boxes, or even on dead bodies. You can also find scraps after defeating enemies and checking their bodies.
Once you have gathered some scraps, head over to any of the recycling stations marked on the map. You can find one on each floor, so have a look around and head over to any of them. Interact with the station to trade in your scraps for credits. For 10 scraps, you will receive 1 credit.
Another way to farm credits is to check the dead bodies and surroundings. If you are lucky, you can find credits on the many corpses around the station. Sometimes you can even find them on the shelves or containers around the various rooms.
To use your credits, you can find Mod-Kit stations and Transderm Dispensers across the floors. The mod-Kit station can help upgrade your weapons, while the Transderm Dispenser helps in handing out consumables.
