- First, unlock the Beta Quadrant on the Research floor and acquire the Science Access Key
- Make a visit to the Library beside the Admin Security area and get the access code
- Use the Science key to visit the Gamma Quadrant
- Enter the biohazard room to acquire Isotope X-22
- Use the elevator and enter the Reactor floor
- Over here, visit the Radiation Shield Controls and insert Isotope X-22 to activate the safety shield
- After that, make your way to the Safety Override section of the map
- It can be found in the western area of the Reactor floor
- Enter the code into the panel and disable the safety overlock
- Once you are done, make your way back to the Research floor
- Go to the Central Hub area and enter the Central Control Room.
- Walk over to the panel where the Laser Charging text can be seen
- Push the button on the left side of the panel to disable the mining laser.
