How to Get Mana in Age of Wonders 4
Shrines, Obelisks, Mages Guild, and Monoliths help in increasing the total Mana production. Also, Conduits and Research Posts can help with that. Every time you annex a new province, you should take a look at all the mana-creating structures and place them. Under the Province Improvement tab, if you have a look, you can spot a bunch of structures that will help you with Mana. Sanctuaries are also a great way to farm Mana.
Some other ways to get Mana in Age of Wonders 4 is to invest in Tomes and work on the Affinity that will help increase your Mana production. Having a Mana Node within your domain will help with earning passive Mana. Mana can also be bought while trading between other cities and empires, if your relationship with them allows it.
How to Use Mana in Age of Wonders 4
The usage of Mana is capped under combat casting points and strategic casting points. All your buildings and your Heroes, Leaders, and Troops will draw mana from the same pool. But because of the capping mechanism, you are limited to how much mana you can use. If your strategic spell exceeds the mana limit, it will take several turns for the spell to be engaged. But this doesn’t apply to combat spells, and you can use one spell per turn that is within the limit. You can increase the combat casting point by investing in certain tomes and society traits if you wish to use more of them.
