Elden Ring is the culmination of all prior Soulsborne titles and contains the majority of the main components designed by FromSoftware over the last decade. Given how intense the Elden Ring’s open-world can be, you can’t afford to ignore the potent firearm. Elden Ring is brimming with weapons ranging from Katanas to whetstone blades, double-edge swords to Glintstone Staves, and so on. As a result, here’s a comprehensive Elden Ring Weapons Tier List to guide you through the finest weapon story!
Daggers Tier List
Daggers are the most common weapon that participants will encounter in their first Elden Ring battles. Though daggers have a restricted range, their reasonably fast strike velocity and good Critical Damage make up for it. These characteristics enable the firearm to unleash damaging Ripostes and Backstabs.
Daggers may be the best choice for you if your game strategy involves a few sneaky plots, such as backstabbing foes or Parries. These firearms can be used in conjunction with numerous Ashes of War props, allowing players to create variable, more powerful combos to meet the demands of the battleground.
However, only Reduvia Daggers can be used because only they have a corresponding merging skill- the Reduvia Blood Blade. Here are the tiers:

Glintstone Staves Tier List
An Eldin Ring Glintstone Staff is required if you love using spells on your enemies. Apart from being the only weapon class that can support magic powers, staves provide no exceptional abilities. (with Sacred Seals, of course). As a result, remember to pair them with a secondary or tertiary firearm to help your character live in the battle. To learn more, check out our Elden Ring Spells Tier List.
Glintstone Staves are also immune to Ashes of War. Spears, on the other hand, can! Spears are another common form of weapon found in the Eldin Ring. The weapon helps participants fight within a secure melee range. Here is the tier list for the same.

Twinblades are ideal if you enjoy hitting numerous objects at once.

Hammers, Warhammers, and Other Colossal Weapon Tier List
Both Hammers and Warhammers are intended to deal substantial harm to Elden Ring Enemies and Bosses with strong but sluggish strikes. Both firearms are particularly useful against foes who have strong shields or are dressed in high-quality guard outfits. However, in order to fully utilize Warhammers, players must have strong Strength ratings.
This is not required in the case of hammers because they deal slightly less damaging damage than Warhammers; thus, if you lack adequate Strength stats, use only hammers. Elden Ring, like Hammers and Warhammers, contains a slew of other thrashing weapons known as Colossal weaponry. They are large mallet-like weapons that can cause substantial damage to foes.

Katanas Tier List
This weapon class in Elden Ring is a mid-range combat expert capable of devastating thrust and slice strikes. In many instances, Katanas can also contribute to the infamous Hemorrhage Status Effect, which can inflict significant, non-curable damage on enemies. Elden Ring Best Katanas has more on this.
Katanas have a very distinct move set, which draws even more players to its novelty. The firearm can be modified with numerous Ashes of War, which can change its Skills or even Damage Type! Katanas is a good choice for players who appreciate a more thorough personalization option.

Axes can be maneuvered with one hand and offer a diverse range of strikes, including those that are difficult to manage with other weaponry. Axes are particularly helpful in Eldin Ring’s PvP meta, and thus are ideal for close combat. Axes, like most weapon kinds in the game, can be customized to the player’s liking using any Ashes of War.

Bows Tier List
With these ranged weaponry, players have the ability to cause massive harm on the opponent’s side even from a long distance. This trait also compensates for one of bows’ drawbacks: no guard safety against instant reprisal. By the way, we also wrote a different piece about the Best Elden Ring Ranged Weapons, so be sure to read that as well.
Because bows cannot be handled without a large number of missiles, make sure your character has a large number of arrow reserves before beginning an Eldin Ring battle. Also, Bows cannot be changed with Ashes of War, so you must make do with the pre-built damage abilities.

Swords Tier List
Eldin Ring Swords are divided into three subtypes: Straight Swords, Greatswords, and Curved Swords. Straight Swords deal a lot of harm to Bosses and Enemies because they provide an excellent mix of striking and slashing strikes at the same time. You might want to peruse our independent review of Elden Ring Best Sword.
Because these swords are more basic, don’t anticipate anything more interesting from them than what normal swords are meant to do. Straight Swords, when combined with a powerful Shield, allow players to enjoy quick follow-up attacks after defending. Greatswords are also capable of inflicting fatal harm on opponents, far more so than Straight Swords. However, you must address their mobility problem because it exposes the players to the opponent’s attacks.
Nonetheless, with great danger comes great gain, as you can blast up a large pancake of Bosses and Enemies with a single stroke of your Greatsword. Last but not least, Curved Swords are just as powerful as the Greatsword with no danger of weakness due to their lack of movement. They deal slash strikes much faster than many other combat weaponry in Elden Ring. Don’t know how to deal with super-flashy opponents? You are ready to go if you have the finest Greatsword.

Halberd and Reapers are especially effective at sneaking damage behind powerful defenses if struck with the proper angles and spacing.
