When will Warzone Servers Turn Off or Go Offline

As Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 approaches, Activision has been preparing with final tests to make sure things go smoothly as they hope they will. They announced that the original Warzone game would be temporarily taken offline while everyone worked hard on Warzone 2. How and when will the Warzone servers be turned off? When will Warzone Servers Turn Off?

It has been confirmed that Warzone 2 will release on November 16th, 2022. Players can pre-download it two days before it becomes available at 12:00am EST on Monday, November 14th. 

Activision plans to shut down Warzone servers until Warzone 2 has been released, and new features can be added. Unfortunately, this means that anyone playing or participating in Warzone at the time of shutdown will not be able to do so. 

Listed below are the times that Warzone Servers will be shut down:

  • November 16, 8 AM PT
  • November 16, 10 AM CT
  • November 16, 11 AM ET

As part of Modern Warfare 2 Season 1, Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 will be released. In addition to improved gameplay and the addition of a third-person perspective in Battle Royale, Warzone 2.0 will also include a number of new weapons. 

There’s no need to worry about Warzone’s future. Starting Monday, November 28, Warzone will be rebranded into a new Call of Duty game called Warzone Caldera. Although players from the original Warzone will be able to play together again, this new game is a completely new experience.
