RPG Elden Ring lets players explore the open-world map of their game defeating monsters and collecting items as they go. With all the unique items, monsters and quests, it might get challenging to keep track of them all. This guide will take you through the process of how to get Gold Firefly in Elden Ring.
Where to Find Gold Firefly in Elden Ring
As you play Elden Ring, you will come across a lot of things in the wild that you might not be quite sure what to do with, but you should keep collecting these because you never know when you’ll end up needing them. Most of these seemingly useless things are used as crafting ingredients later in the game, so make sure to pick up as many of these as you can hold.

The Gold Firefly is one such item you will find in the wild close to bodies of water with Minor Erdtrees. It is quite rare, so make sure to pick them up and stay on the lookout for more. The best location to find these fireflies is around a small point in the Weeping Peninsula. To get there, you will need to travel north from the Tower of Return.
In your journey there, you will need to be careful as there will be monsters along the way as well as in the pond itself, in the form of octopi who will try to attack you. There is also a giant octopus among the smaller ones who you can avoid by using Torrent, or use heavy attacks and critical hits to break its stance and quickly take it out.
Once the area is cleared, you will be able to explore it freely and collect as many Gold Fireflies as you can spot. Pick them up to use them later in the game to craft Gold-Pickled Fowl Feet, which gives you a Runes boost.
