Elden Ring, the immensely popular RPG has players all over their open-world map as they explore new locations and uncover secrets. Once they’ve discovered the hidden location of the Volcano Manor, there’s a more pressing question at hand. This guide will explain if you should join the Volcano Manor in Elden Ring, and if there are any repercussions if you do not.
Should you join Volcano Manor in Elden Ring
Volcano Manor might be difficult to enter, but once you’ve found the secret entrance you can access the interior of it. There is a Site of Grace inside where you can rest and replenish your health. There will also be two NPCs waiting for you at the end of the room you can interact with, and they will ask you if you want to join Volcano Manor.

The woman and the knight will ask you if you want to fight against the misdeeds of the Two Fingers. On joining the Volcano Manor, you will get access to their Drawing Room and their gear. There doesn’t seem to be any ramifications so far if you do not join them.
Getting extra items for perhaps doing a few quests for them doesn’t seem so bad, and maybe there will be more opportunities in the future. As this is not necessary for the progression of your game, you can treat it like a side quest and join the Volcano Manor. You will receive the Recusant Finger, the Scaled Armor Set, and the Magma shot.
However, if you do not wish to fight against the Two Fingers, you can avoid this possible series of mini-quests simply by declining the woman’s offer. You will be able to progress in Elden Ring and finish the game as you normally would, as you do not come across these two in your gameplay later.
