The clearing of compounds in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ can be described as an easy side objective where you have to find a marked compound and eliminate the enemies inside. Nonetheless, some of them might be more challenging than others, and you need to pick the right spot to make the task much easier.

How To Find And Clear Compounds

To locate a compound, simply open your map and look out for the ones marked with a white tent icon. While there are numerous compounds throughout the map, some are relatively easier to clear.

Upon reaching a compound, your objective is to kill all the enemies present inside. Observe the percentage on the left side of your screen to keep track of how many enemies are left. Make sure to search the entire area thoroughly, as enemies may be hiding in hard-to-spot places.

If new enemies arrive at the compound, dispose of them, as well. Playing cooperatively with other players would make clearing compounds much easier; however, it can also be accomplished with just one player.

Which Compound Should You Clear?

Choosing a remote location that is distant from opponents is preferable as fewer people nearby mean smaller chances of being confronted by enemies. One of the most suitable spots for this mission is the one located very far away and not likely to attract any new enemies or players.

However, at this stage, it is better to avoid the place that has a locked building. This location is considered part of the compound, although it features one of the locked facilities. Hence, even if all enemies nearby have been killed (as well as those hiding in underground parking), this objective still will not be considered accomplished.

What is also good about the remote compound is that it can hold two safes among its rewards: one of them is secured inside a container, while the second is located on top of the watchtower. Once you have eliminated every enemy and the remaining percentage reaches completion, the compound will be cleared.
