In Modern Warfare 4 DMZ, Lieutenant Gorani is a hard opponent to eliminate due to his ability to teleport and use stealth techniques, among others. Discovering his spawn points will allow players to track him down and make the hunt much easier. This guide will explain where Gorani can be found and how he can be killed, as well as the rewards that players can earn.
Where To Find Lieutenant Gorani in MW4 DMZ
There are three methods for finding Gorani such as activating a Lieutenant’s Tower, getting his information from the Boss Board at your Forward Operating Base (FOB), and hunting for his spawn locations.
When you activate the Lieutenant’s Tower, you will be assigned a random lieutenant and not necessarily Gorani. Otherwise, you may find his intel on the Boss Board for $25,000 and find out his location for the next match. Once you are defeated, you will have to spend the money to find out his location again.
You can also search these two locations where Gorani is known to spawn. Do remember, Gorani does not appear in every match, so you will need to check these areas in person:
- Forest south of Cheonwang Peak Array
- Woodland above Hanrim Village
How To Defeat Lieutenant Gorani in MW4 DMZ
Gorani is a scout-type lieutenant who uses stealth and diversion to fight. As soon as you fall into his trap, he will reveal himself and start attacking. He places dummy soldiers for your distraction and activates smoke grenades whenever he takes a hit. Other enemy AI soldiers will appear and attack you as well.
In order to find the real target, you will have to watch the lieutenant icon above Gorani’s head. Keep an eye on that icon whether he is hiding behind bushes or teleporting here and there. Gorani has a very low health compared to other lieutenants, but it is difficult to kill him due to his mobility and diversion tactics.
All Lieutenant Gorani Rewards in MW4 DMZ
Defeating Gorani provides the following rewards:
- $10,000: Awarded the first time you eliminate him and deposited directly into your FOB bank, even if you die later in the same deployment.
- Rare M9 weapon: Dropped by Gorani after his elimination.
- Dog tags: Extract with his dog tags to receive an additional $25,000.
Gorani’s intel is priced at $25,000. However, eliminating him for the first time will give you $10,000. Successfully extracting him along with the dog tags will give you $25,000. If you are carrying the dog tags with you, this means that the other players will know your location on the map and might look for you.
Killing Gorani and extracting his dog tags will also give you points for one of the lieutenant challenges from the FOB Boss Board. The lieutenant challenges include eliminating all 10 Hashin lieutenants once and extracting the dog tags from the Hashin lieutenants two and five times.
