In Modern Warfare 4 DMZ, you must locate Lost Supply Drops to progress through Chapter 4 Orders. However, finding them can be tough, as they can spawn in multiple places. Luckily, by knowing what to look for and flying on a light helicopter, the task can become less difficult. Here’s how to find Lost Supply Drops and collect them efficiently.
How to Find Lost Supply Drops in MW4 DMZ

Lost Supply Drops can spawn at multiple locations across the map. A red flare with a supply crate attached indicates the position of one of these drops. Check around the map for different sightings of the red flare, then move to such locations until you see them.
Take screenshots of maps showing the possible locations or keep it open when playing to increase your chances of finding it. Note that the Chapter 4 Order is individual to each player. Regardless of whether you are playing with friends or alone, all players must fulfill the objective separately.
All Lost Supply Drop Spawn Locations

There may be differences in the actual spawn points, so be sure to look into several places instead of just one spot. Here are the places you might want to check in:
- General Hospital: Look for a light helicopter at the building which is located next to the hospital. There might also be a Lost Supply Drop hanging high up at the hospital but you’ll need to use explosives to knock it down.
- Peak Array: See if there is a small helipad where a light helicopter may spawn.
- Other helipads: Explore helipads located on the map, because they can also have light helicopters available.
Use the map to find designated Lost Supply Drop points.
The Fastest Way to Search for Lost Supply Drops
Load into a match and consider using a free loadout to reduce the chance of using any valuable equipment while searching. Keep an eye open for a helicopter near General Hospital, Peak Array, or other regions with helipads. Alternatively, you could buy one for about $50,000, but keep searching for one in-game as this may be less expensive.
Once you get a helicopter, open your map, mark the possible spawning locations for Supply Drops, and proceed to check all of them for red flares and supply crates. When you find a crate, grab it, shoot it down, knock it down, or approach it and open it, depending on its location. For the elevated Supply Drop at the hospital, bring a thermite or grenade to knock it down.
Should your helicopter lose fuel, land it on a gas station roof to refuel and repair it before continuing your search.
How To Repair and Refuel Your Helicopter

When your helicopter has low fuel or becomes damaged, you should find a gas station on the map. Then, you can use the helicopter on the rooftop to either repair the helicopter or refuel it. It’s wise to use any gas station, thus you do not have to limit yourself to gas stations with their own helipads. Also, gas stations located on piers and on the ground-level may be used too.
Important Tips for Finding Lost Supply Drops
- Use a helicopter: Flying between spawn points is faster than searching on foot.
- Watch for red flares: These help you identify Supply Drops while flying around the map.
- Bring an explosive: A thermite or grenade can knock down the elevated Supply Drop at the hospital.
- Use a free loadout: This reduces the risk of losing valuable equipment while searching.
- Complete the objective individually: Squad members must each complete their own Lost Supply Drop objective, even when playing together.
