One of the best companions to be with you on your Jedi journey in Star Wars Zero Company is Tel-Rea Vokoss. She is a versatile character who can deal melee attacks with a lightsaber and can use her force powers to control the opponents and support her allies. The special Harmony feature of hers boosts her defensive and offensive capabilities. In this guide, we’ll cover Tel-Rea’s class, talents, abilities, and the best way to build and use her in combat.
Tel-Rea Vokoss Build
Tel-Rea is a Padawan that has abilities in both close combat and range combat, giving you many options during a fight. Tel-Rea can use a wide range of Force abilities, such as Force Push and Force Pull, which gives you the ability to control your enemies during the battle. Tel-Rea’s unique ability, Strong with the Force gives her Harmony stacks at the beginning of each turn, increasing her lightsaber deflection and abilities’ strength.
By upgrading this ability, Tel-Rea will earn more Harmony stacks each turn, making it possible for her to become powerful faster. The best way to play Tel-Rea in the game would be to earn Harmony stacks first and then use her best abilities.
Tel-Rea Vokoss Class
The skilled Jedi Tel-Rea ultimately becomes one of your dependable friends when you are playing the game. She makes her appearance in Cycle 7: Dark Waters, but Tel-Rea becomes your team member only after you finish the Jedi Undercover/Smugglers’ Den primary quest.
Tel-Rea is the only character who can belong to the Jedi Padawan class. You are unable to assign the Jedi Padawan class to your custom units, and Tel-Rea is unable to switch to another class. Regardless of the changes that you make to other parts of her outfit, she will continue to be the Jedi Padawan. There is an additional detail that you should remember if you play the game with permadeath option on. If Tel-Rea dies, you will lose the Jedi Padawan class and her storyline branch.
Tel-Rea’s Talents and Abilities
The fixed Talent that Tel-Rea has is Strong with the Force. With every turn she begins with Harmony stacks, which cannot be more than six in the highest rank. With every stack she receives 4% deflection and 4 lightsaber damage.
With Harmony she doesn’t build up during the fight, it simply provides stacks at the beginning of every turn, which means she starts the game at full strength. Waiting for more turns to build her up won’t help her get stronger.
Defensive Ability
The defensive capabilities of Tel-Rea can be quite high. Her Padawan Training provides 30% base deflection and with six stacks of Harmony she increases it to 54%. When she uses three Action Points to use Noble Stance, her deflection reaches about 84% against the attack directed at her from the front.
Lightsaber Strike
The Lightsaber Strike is different from most other abilities in the way she uses Harmony stacks. Three Harmony stacks are used with every strike and she gets four bonus damage for every stack. This means that Harmony is her defense as well as the source of her damage. She sacrifices some of the defense for higher strikes. It is considered one of the most powerful melee attacks.
Padawan Training Rank Effects
Padawan Training will not raise her initial 30% deflection. However, this set gives other important buffs to Tel-Rea. The first rank grants her one additional meter of movement that is applicable to one of up to three actions per turn. The second one is 10% melee crit chance, whereas the last ones allow her to use two additional Force Meditation slots.
Utilities
Force Meditation abilities function as Utilities for Tel-Rea. Initially, she can get one slot and then obtain up to three of them. There were three kinds of Force Meditations revealed during the reveal: one recovers 8 health points at the beginning of Tel-Rea’s turn, while the others give 10% deflection and one Harmony stack.
Shockwave
Tel-Rea’s Shockwave ability has a cost of 6 Advantages, and its final upgrade has some special value, since it allows Tel-Rea to gain Harmony for every enemy unit she strikes down. In order to have Harmony above the starting 6 units per round, Tel-Rea must use the Shockwave ability with an upgrade.
As all Jedi, Tel-Rea can jump vertically, so ladders or climb abilities are unnecessary for her. Tel-Rea is a Tognath – this alien race is characterized by the necessity to use cyborg modifications and an artificial respiration device. Tel-Rea became a member of Zero Company in honor of her dead Master.
