Ever Beneath the Waves is a mysterious World Quest in Genshin Impact 7.0 that leads you to the icy wilderness of Snezhnaya’s Volkodlak Tundra. You must perform some search work after hearing a voice trapped under ice and making the area clear from ice with Grappling Guns. Here’s how you can finish the quest.
Ever Beneath the Waves Location
Proceed toward the east or northeast section of Sretomorozsk in Volkodlak Tundra, where you will be able to find a wrecked ship in the middle of frozen water. Getting to the ship’s rear section or discovering the frozen cabin in the area will trigger this quest.
Find the Voice Beneath the Ice
Once the quest begins, make your way toward the strange voice guiding you to the great icy structure close to the ship. The iron pipe poking out of the ice serves as the point from which the voice originates. Go on and approach the area to continue with the discussion and receive the objective to clear the brash ice.
Clear the Brash Ice
The ice encasing the frozen building has to be destroyed. There are a number of explosive barrels near the structure that can assist in clearing the ice while regular attacks are sufficient to destroy any remaining ice. When enough ice is removed, a brief sequence shows the Wooden Cabin situated underneath it.
Bring the Cabin to Shore
A person inside the cabin will tell you to take the cabin towards the shore. Use the Eye of Graeae to create Grappling Guns at the glowing locations indicated in the quest.
The moment the cabin is identified within a region to the Grappling Gun, the cabin gets pulled towards it. Continue placing Grappling Guns at the next marked positions to gradually move the cabin toward land.
If it seems that the cabin does not move from the newly placed Grappling Gun, you might not be in range. Move, until you find the place to set up the Grappling Gun.
After the cabin reaches the shore, the final dialogue and lore sequence plays, and the quest is complete.
