Trading is a good way to get more powerful in Mistfall Hunter, and this does not require waiting for luck to get loot from the dungeons. Instead of waiting for what you might need when exploring dungeons, you can purchase equipment from other players or earn some money by selling useless stuff. It is easy to trade in the Auction House and Camp vendors in the game. In this guide, we’ll explain how trading works, how to use the Auction House, and how to upgrade it for even more trading slots.
How to Trade in Mistfall Hunter
The easiest way to get the gear you need in Mistfall Hunter is by using the Auction House. When you don’t have certain equipment, such as a weapon or some armour, you can just search for it in the Auction House and acquire it. This system has all the types of equipment of different levels, which makes it useful not only for beginners but also for advanced players. To access it, head back to the camp and speak with Pip. All the trading in Mistfall Hunter is carried out via the Auction House and camp vendors.
Using the Auction House and Camp Vendors
- Auction House: Make a trip to the camp centre to find, purchase and sell weapons, armour, and rare materials among players.
- Compare Prices: Be sure to compare prices in the Auction House before selling expensive items and gems to the vendor, as demand by players is likely to fetch you much more money.
- Vendor Recycling: If you have many redundant items and tactical gear and if you require some quick money, you can sell them to the vendors at the camps in exchange for base currency (Gilden Blood).
- Making Money and Gearing Up: With the money you earn from the successful extraction runs, you can now get your missing loadout pieces or specialised equipment from players.
How to Upgrade Auction House
To upgrade the Auction House to Level 2, you’ll need to collect 1 Gem Mirror, 2 Mixed Spices, 2 Soulcall Flutes, and 2 Glintstones. Once it is upgraded, an additional Auction House slot will become available.
Trading with Camp Merchants
The Auction House isn’t the only place where you can trade in Mistfall Hunter. Once you have finished extracting the materials from the Gyldenmist, go to the camp and speak to the various vendors. It is possible for you to exchange the Gyldenblood and other valuable materials for good rewards such as weapons and armour.
- Blacksmith – Trade Gyldenblood and Iron to unlock new weapon stances and better armour. This should be one of your top priorities.
- Mystic Jeweller – Exchange Relics and Gem Dust for gem upgrades, affixes, and stat-enhancing runes. Great for making your build stronger.
- Alchemist – Give Plant Extracts and Gold to craft potions and tactical items that will help you during your runs.
- Faction Envoy – Trade Rare Trophies to earn legendary gear and cosmetic rewards. These are useful later in the game.
