Predator Cores are a valuable crafting material in Palworld, especially if you want to upgrade your inventory or craft powerful weapons. However, since they cannot be crafted or purchased from the store, you will have to get them by defeating the Predator Pals located throughout the map. These are more difficult creatures compared to ordinary Pals. In this guide, we’ll show you the best ways to get Predator Cores, where to find Predator Pals, and everything you can craft.
How to Get Predator Cores
Predator Cores are awarded as loot from defeating Predator Pals. These special Pals are easy to recognise because they have a red mist floating above their heads. Unlike ordinary Pals, Predator Pals cannot be captured; thus, the only way to get Predator Cores is to defeat them.
The places where Predator Pals spawn are set and fixed within the game but not revealed in-game. In this case, exploring the known places of appearance of Pals or checking out an interactive map of Palworld will help you find them.
One of the simplest places to find Predator Pals is near the places where fast travel is possible since it allows you to easily farm Predator Cores. Defeating Predator Pals gives one or several Predator Cores.
If you visit a spawn location and the Predator Pal isn’t there, don’t worry. Simply fast travel to another area and come back, or fly a good distance away and return. This usually causes the Predator Pal to respawn.
Location 1 – Small Cove

Go down to the small cove (-226, -547) on the bottom of the island and take a trip to the spawn point of the Predator Pal from the closest fast travel point. If it is not spawned, go out of the rendering distance and return. You’ll find the Predator Pal after some tries. Kill it and obtain the Predator Cores.
Location 2 – North of Quiv

First, travel to the fast travel node found below Quiv (-301, -164) and fly to the nearest Predator Pal spawn point. In case the Predator is not there, use the same trick again by moving out of the loading area and back again. Defeat it to collect more Predator Cores.
Location 3 – Land of Absolute Zero

Next, visit the Land of Absolute Zero (-239, 412) teleportation point located in the snowy area. Teleport to the nearby spawn point and see if the Predator Pal is there. If it is not there, leave the area and revisit until you get it. The Wumpo Predator Pal that can be found here is Level 50.
Location 4 – Mount Obsidian

Go to the Mount Obsidian Midpoint (-491, -412) fast travel point found in the volcanic area. The Predator Pal here spawns inside the lava, so using a flying mount is highly recommended. Ground mounts get very damaged by the lava. After appearing, kill the Predator Pal and get the Predator Cores.
Location 5 – Duneshelter

For the last destination, go to the Duneshelter fast travel station (355, 348). Then proceed to the open space near that place, which is where the Level 47 Predator Pal can appear. If it doesn’t appear immediately, leave the rendering area and return until it does. After defeating it, collect your Predator Cores and continue farming.
Predator Pals Location
Predator Pals are a kind of special Pals that are more dangerous than Alpha Pals because of their size, strength, and ability to attack. They are easily identifiable due to their red eyes and red auras surrounding their body.
