RelaxMech is one of the many bosses that you can come across in Borderlands 4. However, you will not be able to fight RelaxMech immediately. Firstly, you will have to start the You Can’t Fire Me, I Quit quest for the Digi-Gauntlet and complete some objectives in the resort zone.
How to Unlock RelaxMech
In order to start the boss fight against RelaxMech, you will have to start the Digi-Gauntlet: You Can’t Fire Me, I Quit quest and then head over to the Resort zone to start. Track the Digi-Gauntlet quest from your map and travel to Bagheera Range. Follow the quest marker to the building and head inside. Find and talk to J3VVES at the main lobby to start the mission.
Pay the Membership Fee
J3VVES will require you to pay the Tranquility membership fee worth $25,000,000. You could pay, or choose violence to get the membership by force. Either way, once you get the Tranquility membership, you will be able to move further inside the resort. Wait for Manager Schulmann to contact you, after which, your aim will be to locate the manager. This way, you will move towards the canopy area.
Using the zipline, you need to move to the Vinechoked Canopy from the Gated Dreams fast travel point. Once there, review the objectives of your mission, where you will be required to find Manager Schulmann and the loot codes. Use the zipline to go to the cave, and kill the Tediore enemies protecting it.
Get the Loot Codes
The first loot code is found in the section just before you make the jump across towards the Entering Area Waypoint. Turn around Collect the first loot code on the rocks nearby.
Then, jump across to the Entering Area Waypoint and collect the second code on the lounge chairs on the right side section of the building.
Turn around and get up the stairs, then follow the path around the exterior of the building and use the grapple point to get up. Make your way towards the end of the platform to get the third code.
In the area where you picked the third code, use the zipline on the left and head towards Vine Pointe Lodge and pick up the fourth loot code inside the building. Once you enter, take the stairs on the right and stick to your right the whole time. You will end up on a balcony with two lounge chairs, and the final loot code on it.
Navigate Vine Pointe Lodge
Continue following the path until you come across a security door which is locked. You will also find five holograms in front of the door. This door requires five skull bombs, which are dropped from defeating all the Tediore enemies in the area. Keep killing them and placing all the skull bombs until you get the objective to shoot and detonate the bombs.
Now that the security door is destroyed, enter the control room and interact with the console. You will have to insert the five loot codes into the console before restoring the backup power. Loot all the crates in the area first, then activate the console. Jump across the console and head down while running past the enemies. Make your way across towards the door opposite the console room.
Inside the new room, use the vending machines to get anything before you step into the boss arena. Then, head down towards the large area to trigger the RelaxMech boss fight.
