The quest “A Shaman Shunned” is one of the later quests in Gothic 1 Remake, in which you must go into dangerous lands searching for a rejected orc shaman. In order to progress with your tale, you must find Ur-Shak and make use of him in helping you get to the Orc Enclave. On your way there, you will have to cross through hostile areas and kill off monsters. This guide will tell you how to start the quest and where to find Ur-Shak so you can continue your adventure without getting lost.
A Shaman Shunned Quest
In order to start this quest, you should use the rune “Teleport to the Necromancer” to visit Xardas and have a talk with him. While talking to Xardas, you will learn that you must get into the Orc Enclave, but it is going to be difficult for you to do it on your own. Xardas recommends that you ask for help from an outcast orc shaman named Ur-Shak, who may live in the Old Citadel.
Finding Ur-Shak
In order to find Oshak for the Shaman Shund quest, start by travelling fast to the tower of Xardas. Exit from the bottom and go left towards the trail. Proceed further along the trail, and you will come to an open area. Now turn right and start walking uphill. Keep moving ahead on the trail and then take a left. Stay near the cliff on your right as you proceed ahead on the trail.
Somewhat farther along, you will find yourself at a drop. Once you have reached your destination, keep moving until you pass the Derelict Castle and move towards the bridge located somewhere ahead. Once you have moved under the bridge, kill all the Bloodhounds you see in your way. Then proceed on the path going to the left side and make sure that you see black and green flags on your way.
Continue to follow the banners and the cliffside path until you come across a few Razors along the way. Remove them first before proceeding. Pass through the stone archway and climb up the hill until you meet some other Razors. After removing them all, head towards the main gate. It is here that you will find Oshak, which will allow you to proceed with the Shaman Shund quest.
