The Hands Stained Red quest in Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred will take you through the corrupted Temple of Life to retrieve Tharra’s spear and assist with purging the corruption that is spreading from the temple. Travel to the Temple of Life
To start your journey, head towards the Temple of Life. The map marks this point, so you can easily navigate it. After reaching the temple, be sure to activate the nearby waypoint for easier returns if needed.
Once you’ve arrived at the entrance of the temple, you’ll see an injured woman beside a bloody wall. After speaking to her briefly, move deeper into the area by making a left turn.
You can use a mount here, this way makes traveling quicker through the temple grounds and is faster for you if you stay mounted while moving between objectives.
Speak to Tharra and Recover the Spear
Keep going through the area and you’ll find Tharra. After talking to him, your goal is now to find his spear. The spear is located in a nearby structure, very close to where your position is. Go inside the marked area and then retrieve the spear to complete this part of the quest. After you retrieve the spear, Tharra will ask you for help to clear out the temple grounds.
Clear the Corruption in the Temple
Make your way towards the Temple of Life after obtaining the spear. You’ll need to cleanse the various locations from a strange corruption that seems to be everywhere around the temple.
You should begin at the eastern corruption point and remove all enemies that are there. This part also has some dialogue that will unveil more information about Akarat and the brambles that are spreading around the temple. After securing the eastern section, move to the north-western part and again clear all enemies from that corrupted area (don’t forget to check for enemy servants nearby).
Once you have completed that task, head north and secure the last corrupt section to completely clear the Temple of Life. After this, you can return to Lorath to conclude the Hands Stained Red quest in Diablo 4.
