Contradiction Quest in Crimson Desert
Visit the Saltroad Trading Post found in the Crimson Desert zone. On your map, you will see that the location is just near the first “A” letter in Urdavah. As soon as you arrive, find and speak with the Guard Captain, who will provide you with an item, which is the Investigation Log: Truth on the Sands. You have to take a few moments to read it, and then the investigation can begin by speaking with the suspects.
How to do the Investigation Contradiction Quest
After you’ve talked to all six NPCs, head back to the Guard Captain. When you speak to him, choose the correct answers from the options given to complete the investigation.

Once you’ve answered all the questions correctly, it’s time to move on. Head north of the Saltroad Trading Post until you find a desert tree. This is where you’ll uncover that Armin is the real culprit. Go up to him and confront him, then bring him back to the Guard Captain. Handing him over will complete the quest.
