In ARK: Survival Ascended Genesis Part 1, Rare Flowers can be very useful; however, they can be tricky to collect. The good thing is that there are several ways to obtain Rare Flowers, so if you prefer exploring the Snow Biome or using HLN-A’s Hexagon Exchange, you can opt for either option. Here is a guide on how and where to get the Rare Flowers easily.

How to Get Rare Flowers

Genesis Part 1 features three methods for obtaining Rare Flowers. You can either loot them from Beaver Dams, gather them from certain plants in the Snow Biome using a Therizinosaur, or buy them through HLN-A’s Hexagon Exchange.

Loot Beaver Dams

One way to collect Rare Flowers is by looting Beaver Dams. Along with Rare Flowers, the dams can also contain Rare Mushrooms and Cementing Paste.

A reliable Beaver Dam location can be found in the icy area at 75.4 Latitude, 13.1 Longitude, where multiple Beaver Dams spawn. Beavers guard the area, so collect the loot as quickly as possible. After looting a dam, take every item from its inventory rather than leaving anything behind so it can spawn again.

Harvest Special Plants in the Snow Biome

Another way to farm Rare Flowers is by harvesting a specific type of plant found throughout the Snow Biome. A Therizinosaur can harvest Rare Flowers from these plants, while a Moschops cannot.

Look for dead shrubs with small red dots on them. They can be difficult to spot, especially while flying, and are scattered throughout the biome instead of growing together in one area. Do not confuse them with the healthy plants that also have red dots, as those are not the correct plants.

Use the Therizinosaur’s right-click attack to harvest the shrubs. Rare Flowers are not guaranteed from every plant, so you’ll need to harvest multiple shrubs while exploring the Snow Biome.

Snow Biome Plant Locations

The following coordinates are where the dead shrubs can be found:

Latitude Longitude Notes
76.513.8Near the frozen lake and a Beaver Dam.
68.113.8Shrubs scattered along the pathways.
68.415.1Additional shrubs a short distance from the previous location.
64.719.1Shrubs spread among the surrounding vegetation.
65.327.7Near a large building, with more shrubs along the nearby pathways.

The shrubs are spread throughout the Snow Biome rather than clustered together, so following the pathways while looking for the dead plants with red dots makes them easier to find.

Buy Rare Flowers

You can also obtain Rare Flowers through HLN-A’s Hexagon Exchange. Open the Hexagon Exchange menu and purchase 5 Rare Flowers for 120 Hexagons.
