The best way to get cucumber is to purchase it from vendors. There is one particular vendor in Meyer’s Market called Zhao Jintan (5761, -6542). If you talk to him, you can find that he sells cucumber seeds. You can buy 3x cucumber seeds from him per week, and each seed will cost 1000 energy links. You can then take the cucumber seeds to your plotting soil and grow cucumbers at the comfort of your base
You can also grow deviated cucumbers by using Fertilizer – Mutation Boost. You can unlock this fertilizer type under Fertilizer III in Logistics Tier 5 of the memetics tree. Craft the fertilizer using the required materials and you can use it in your soil before placing the cucumber seeds. The chances of getting deviated cucumber is random, so you might have to try several times to get this type of cucumber
