First, you need to purchase onion seeds from the vendor in Tall Grass Inn. You can find this location in Chalk Peak. Once you reach the area, head upstairs and keep going uphill till you reach a store called Sandwich. Head inside this store and talk to Emma Potter. She sells onion seeds, which you can take back to your base and plant them
After planting the onion seeds, you have to wait for it to grow and check whether you have the Grumpy Bulb deviant. This is a random find, so keep collecting the seeds and growing onions to find the deviant. This is the only way to get it, although it is quite a slow process. The Grumpy Bulb deviant is a combat deviant that disrupts the aggro of nearby targets
