Genshin Impact received the latest 4.4 update just a few days back and has introduced tons of new content to explore and quests to complete. Like every new update the latest update has brought a new area named Chenyu Vale and players need to explore the area and complete all the quests to progress through the story. Genshin Impact 4.4 Quest Guide: An Ancient Sacrifice of Sacred Brocade
Quests are the primary way to progress through the main story of the game. However, not every quest is a part of the main story, but An Ancient Sacrifice of Sacred Brocade is. If you want to keep your progress going, you have to complete the quest. Anyway, remember, it is the third quest you get after you complete the Qiaoying of the Sacred Mountain and Floating Jade Treasure of Chenyu.
Once you start the quest, you have to follow the quest marker and visit the location where you will meet Bluey. She is the friend of Little Mao and he will take you to the cute blue creature. This new NPC will take you inside a cavern. This cavern will be full of Miasma and you have to solve the puzzle. In the meantime, keep defeating the enemies.
At a point, you will get a prompt on your screen saying that the source of Miasma is exposed and players need to use their Adeptal Energy to purify it. To find the source, you have to look at the Miasma, which is a tree branch. Remove it using your Adeptal Energy. You have to repeat this process thrice to solve the puzzle and remove the barrier that was blocking a small cavern.
Next, a cutscene will come showing lots of information about the folklore and Fujin. Once the cutscene ends, you will have to resume your activities. It will require you to do Rainjade Rite which requires you to visit different locations. Your next destination will be the Adeptus’s Repose. You will get to the location by talking to Fujin.
Once you reach the location, examine nearby clues and murals. Follow the quest marker until you reach Mt. Xualin. There you will find a new puzzle called Jade Cascade. Solve it to progress further. The locations are already marked on the map. You need to move the Jade Hairpins and Jade Cauldrons to solve this puzzle and the quest will be done.
