Final Fantasy 16’s story plot is just as compelling as its previous titles. As Clive, you are on a quest to avenge your brother’s death as well as find out who Eikon Ifrit is. During your adventure, you will frequently encounter a masked figure dubbed Margrace, who keeps dropping into various cutscenes throughout the game. As Clive begins to wonder who this person is, his identity gets revealed somewhere at the end of the game. Who Is Margrace In Final Fantasy 16

The hooded figure who follows Clive on his journey has a secret identity. Margrace is none other than Clive’s younger brother, Joshua Rosfield. While he was presumed dead during the events at Phoenix Gate, he made it out by summoning the Phoenix Eikon. While this helps Joshua evade the killers, he eventually loses control of Phoenix. This is where Clive comes in as the second Eikon, Ifrit. During the battle, it was shown that Joshua was heavily injured but recovered using Phoenix’s abilities. While Clive was out there trying to end the war, Joshua took on the form of Margrace and left to learn more about the Blight that overtook Valisthea.

Clive does eventually learn about Margrace while trying to track down oppressed magic users. He had convinced himself that Margrace was the one responsible for Joshua’s death and sought to find him. Of course, their paths do cross more than once till Margrace’s ultimate reveal.
