In the Bubbly Basin DLC of Pokémon Pokopía, Dhelmise is a rather hard-to-find Pokémon. To add it to your collection, you will need to both find this Pokémon and create a Playing Sailor habitat for it. Here is everything you need to know to attract and capture Dhelmise.

Dhelmise Habitat Building

Dhelmise is a Rare Pokémon that you can encounter and befriend in the Bubbly Basin DLC. This Grass/Ghost-type Pokémon has two useful specialties, Grow and Litter, and can be attracted by building its required habitat, Playing Sailor.

Dhelmise’s required habitat is Playing Sailor. To build it, you need the following items:

  • Ship’s Wheel ×1
  • Wooden Crate ×1
  • Big Treasure Chest ×1
  • Bottled Ship ×1

How to Get Ship’s Wheel and Wooden Crate

Both these items can be found in the S.S.Anne at Bleak Beach. The Ship’s Wheel is located on the third floor, while the Wooden Crate spawns randomly all around the ship.

You can also craft both items by using the Workbench. For the Ship’s Wheel blueprint, you will find it on the S.S.Anne Chimney, and you will require 1 Lumber and 1 Iron Ingot.

The Wooden Crate recipe can be either purchased from the PC shop as a daily item, or found around the glowing spots in the water. Crafting the Wooden Crate requires 1 Lumber.

How to Get Big Treasure Chest

To get the Big Treasure Chest recipe, you need to register 25 Bubbly Basin Pokémon to your Pokéde. You can then craft a Big Treasure Chest at a Workbench using 1 Iron Ore and 1 Lumber.

How to Get Bottled Ship

The recipe can be found at the Bubbly Basin PC Shop after reaching Environment Level 4, and the Bottled Ship itself can also be purchased there for 100 Life Coins. To craft the Bottled Ship, take 1 Lumber and 1 Glass to the workbench.

How to Befriend Dhelmise

To establish the habitat of Playing Sailor, ensure to collect and place the necessary items to make so that Dhelmise can make an appearance. As a Rare Pokémon, Dhelmise may take some time to show up.

It is noted that Dhelmise can be located in the morning, afternoon, evening, and late night hours with the weather conditions being sunny, rainy, and cloudy in the specific area. Dhelmise can only be found in Bubbly Basin; this means that you must have the DLC to encounter Dhelmise.

Dhelmise’s Specialty and Likes

Dhelmise possesses both the Grow and Litter specialties. A Pokémon possessing Grow specializes in enhancing plant growth and the Litter ensures Dhelmise is capable of generating useful items. Dhelmise prefers to inhabit Dark environments and its interests include:

  • Horror
  • Nature
  • Wobble
  • Meaning
  • Ocean
  • Bitter

These preferences make Dhelmise a good candidate for environments which are dark, natural, or ocean-related.
