Warzone 2 and DMZ are fun enough, but players often devise things to do in the game that the devs never intended. In fact, in the latest blog post on the CoD website, the devs have acknowledged the Warzone 2 Taxi Service. If you have come across this term and wondering what it means, we have you covered. We will share the service, how you can do it, and the benefits for players.
What is the Warzone 2 and DMZ Taxi Service
While the taxi service in Warzone 2 can be performed or found in almost all modes, its actual usefulness lies in the DMZ, where you can exfil in mass and keep the gear you take back. The taxi service is essentially a player driving the vehicle and announcing in the chat that they are performing a taxi service. Due to the proximity chat, any nearby player will hear this, and then they can hop on the vehicle for the ride.
If you encounter a lot of cooperative players, you can quickly make a large group that can loot gear, take down targets, and simply has fun. DMZ season 3 is bringing the barter system, but there is no peer-to-peer barter system. Using the taxi service, you can perform peer-to-peer barter.
There is no peer-to-peer trading through this system, but of course, you are still free to swap items during a match with friendly Operators (especially those who operate taxi services, as we heard they are incredibly helpful).
COD
In Warzone 2 Battle Royale Solo, there is not much use of the Taxi Service other than just having fun with fellow players. In DMZ, you can use the taxi service to collaborate and then take on difficult locations, such as the Castle on the new map.
Some of the apparent disadvantages of running a taxi service are running into a hostile group that will gun you down. Also, the competition for loot increases when you have a lot of players looting together.
