If you are looking to enhance your weapons and gear, then you would be on a lookout for various materials. One of the more sought after and rare materials you would need are Pointed Fangs. This item only drops from Wargs, which are large wolf-like enemies. Unfortunately, this enemy is extremely rare to come by, so you would have to venture through various locations to hunt for them. Wargs can be spotted in several locations, but sometimes you might not find them in the given locations. Below are some of the places where Wargs were sighted
Check inside caves to find Wargs. They can be found during the day and nighttime. One can be spotted inside the cave south of Enoa’Battahl Forest, and one inside a cave in western Battahl
You would also spot some Wargs fighting dragons and cyclops near Volcanic Island Camp. There are three in the north with the dragon and two in the eastern side of the camp with the cyclops. Kill the dragon and cyclops before they end up killing the Wargs. Wargs don’t respawn here if they have been killed by other enemies
Travel south of Digger’s Ruins in Bakbattahl and enter Canyon Cave to find a Warg or two. You can also locate one if you travel west from Canyon Cave at night
From the east side of Underbridge Grotto, you can spot one Warg running around in the wild.
During the post game, after reaching Unmoored World, you can find some between Sacred Arbor and the Forgotten Tunnel. You can also locate them if you head east of Harve Village. Also, if you check out the roads around the various ruins, you can spot a Warg or two lurking around.
Besides checking out the overworld, you can also check the wares of merchants to get Pointed Fangs. Usually traveling merchants seem to sell Pointed Fangs, but you can check other merchants too. If you have a Pawn with the Forager speciality then you can check which materials spawn where. Once you get a Pointed Fang, it is best to visit Ibrahim’s shop at Checkpoint Rest Town and forge them so you don’t have to fight Wargs to farm Pointed Fangs.
