Scaramouche has finally been confirmed as a playable character and his playable model will be called Wanderer. Genshin Impact has recently drip-marketed Wanderer and Faruzan splash arts for Version 3.3 and their playable designs look dynamic and powerful. Read on to see what they will look like and what titles they hold.

Version 3.3 Drip Marketing for Wanderer and Faruzan

Genshin Impact routinely releases the splash art of their upcoming characters in the next update near the release of their previous update. This helps players to decide which character appeals to their style visually and thus choose to spend their primogems wisely. The drip marketing for Version 3.3 has curiously begun rather early since Version 3.2 is yet to release.

Wanderer

  • Eons Adrift
  • Tribulations Uncounted, Trials Unknowable
  • Anemo
  • Peregrinus

The Wanderer, as already leaked will be an Anemo user and he will wield a catalyst weapon. His design looks striking with that smug smile conveying power and confidence. One would assume that Scaramouche would lose that feature after his Villain arc in the Sumeru Archon Quest Chapter but it seems like it’s still very much a part of him.

His colour palette is a noticeable shift from his Scaramouche outfit which featured deep blues, purples and highlights of red. His playable model will instead have a bluish-green theme which goes with his Anemo vision. His constellation is inspired by that of the Peregrine which is a symbol of ambition, power and freedom.

Faruzan

  • Enigmatic Machinist
  • Haravatat Household Name
  • Anemo
  • Flosculi Implexi

Faruzan is a 4-star Anemo unit coming alongside Wanderer in Version 3.3. She’s rumoured to be a bow user and according to this marketing she’s also has a household name. The post also says that she’s an “Enigmatic Machinist” which makes sense since her design is full of geometric shapes and she does look like a supporting cast.

So what do you think? Do you like these designs? And does this sway you from pulling for Nahida in the upcoming Version 3.2? Despite the early drip marketing, Hoyoverse won’t suffer any lack of business as Nahida is already known and hyped as a very high-value 5-star unit. Besides, after her trailer, all players could think about was destroying the Sages and saving her from her cage.
